Hobbiton In New Zealand

Seven days is hardly enough time to see all of New Zealand, but the week I spent on the North Island was an extraordinary trip. New Zealand is a tiny country with an abundance of sights.

The extreme changes in scenery just cannot be experienced anywhere else. This is the only place where you can go skiing, ride rapids, and dip your toes in black sand beaches all in one trip. The first stop on my visit to New Zealand was the famous Hobbiton. Here I explored the tiny homes and hiked all over the Shire. It was as mystical as the movies! The unique atmosphere of this area can be felt even if you aren’t a fan of the cinema.

Next, I went dune surfing, wine tasting, and sheep shearing. All of this was before my immersion in the native culture, the Maori. The Maori people led me on a cultural tour of their local hot springs and mud pools before showing me a demonstration of typical tribal practices.

If you’re thinking of visiting New Zealand, keep in mind that their seasons are a little bit different. February is summer and the ideal time to go. Remember, you may lose a day or two with traveling and time change. Allow me to customize the first-rate itinerary for you to enjoy the best of this unique country!
