Our Team and Our Structure
Headquartered in Fort Wayne, we operate 5 locations around the state of Indiana in addition to having several team members who work from home. By joining Travel Leaders you would be joining an outstanding group of 45 professional even if you work in a location that only houses 4 or 5 on a day-to-day basis. Our management team is hands on and works hard to operate day- to-day with open ears and minds and we expect our team to do the same and to speak up when they have ideas and work with management to bring ideas to fruition.
Our Clients
We serve two distinct types of travelers — those traveling on vacation and corporations who are looking for help to manage their travel programs by offering online booking tools, travel management consulting as well as traditional agent-assisted travel reservations for our corporate clients' travelers.
We believe very strongly in specialization so as agents we are either vacation agents or corporate agents. These two types of travelers require two different skill sets to service their unique needs. Corporate travel also offers several positions that are not agent skills focused but that work primarily behind the scenes to support the agents and the account managers.
Technology
For better or worse, our owner is a self-admitted geek and so technology is at the forefront of how we get our jobs done. It is important that anyone looking to work for us not be afraid of that box sitting on your desk and all of the wonderful tools that it contains.
We use Travelport's Apollo Reservation System for air, car and hotel bookings and behind the scenes technology to get bookings processed and accounted for. All supplemented by other sources online as vendors change how they choose to sell their products.
For vacation agents we actively use supplier agent booking sites and ClientBase to not only manage and record our sales but to offer management powerful insight into our operations and marketing.
For our corporate clients we offer a choice of nuTravel or Concur online booking tools, plus a full suite of data intelligence reporting through GRASP reporting.
Our Extended Network
We are privately owned but we are also a part of the Travel Leaders Network as a franchisee. We are proud to be a local extension of this $17 billion powerhouse. This affiliation gives us tools and connections that we would not enjoy if we were on our own. It also gives us a nationwide connection to other agencies with similar ways of doing business to connect and network with.
We are Premium Member of ASTA and believe whole-heartedly in their mission to promote and defend our industry and we take active roles in ASTA.
We enjoy excellent partnerships with key travel suppliers in air service, car rental, hotels, resorts, tour and cruise companies as well as specialized in-country partners around the world to ensure that no matter where our clients are; we have the resources necessary to help them achieve their travel goals whether they are business or vacation travelers.
